What is the core of your job

Assisting the Pediatric Physician in Patient Care: Nurses in pediatric departments play a vital role in supporting physicians in providing medical care to children and adolescents. This includes:
- Preparing patients for examinations or treatments.
- Observing and recording patients' vital signs, symptoms, and health issues.
- Administering medications and vaccinations as prescribed.
- Providing education and guidance to patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Collecting Biological Material: This task is essential for diagnostic purposes and involves:
- Drawing blood, collecting urine samples, and other necessary specimens.
- Ensuring proper labeling, storage, and transport of samples to the laboratory.
- Following strict protocols to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
Maintaining Administrative Tasks Related to Medical Care: This includes:
- Documenting patients' medical histories and the details of each visit.
- Managing patient records and ensuring their confidentiality.
- Coordinating with other healthcare professionals and departments for patient care.
- Handling insurance forms and other necessary paperwork.
Keeping the Clinic Spaces Clean: A clean environment is crucial in a pediatric setting to prevent infections and ensure the safety of young patients. Responsibilities include:
- Regularly disinfecting examination rooms and equipment.
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment in waiting areas and play zones for children.
- Monitoring and replenishing medical supplies and ensuring that the equipment is in good working condition.
